Over the summer of 2022 The Common Room celebrated 170 years of the Mining Institute and 150 years of Neville Hall with a programme of events inspired by the unique heritage of the location and the region’s engineering history.

Twentyseven was commissioned to develop a name and awareness campaign to attract a young audience and inspire them to become the next generation of innovators and engineers.

Following a kick-off meeting with the client we went onto develop the name Game Changers that not only referenced the past, but also appealed to a younger audience. We also developed an engaging look and feel for the campaign that reflected the informal and fun nature of the celebrations as well as highlighting several of the activities that made up the programme.

We created a range of outputs including an exhibition, animated social media posts, literature and outdoor graphics.

Game Changers

As part of our anniversary celebrations we asked Twentyseven to brand our summer program of events. We loved the name they came up with - not only did it capture the essence of our programme but it was energetic and appropriate, perfect for our younger audience. The designs were impactful, fun and definitely memorable, helping set the tone for what was a successful programme!
