BRAW is a delicious new oat and barley snack bar from the Scottish flour wholesaler - Fleming Howden.

As this bar is made specifically for the Scottish market, we were keen to develop a brand and product name that drew heavily on the country’s rich heritage. The word ‘BRAW’ is Scottish for ‘Excellent’ or “Pleasant’ which we combined with an exploding typographic treatment to create an energetic and eye catching version of the Scottish flag.

As part of creating a strong social media presence for the product, we developed a brand personality based on bravery, echoing the Scottish Braveheart folklore and the crunchy nature of the product. We have created a series of fun and engaging posts helping to establish a unique and memorable brand personality in what is a crowded marketplace.
